I've read a ton of dumb message boards and I hope this doesn't turn into one, but, I'm a 16 year old STRAIGHT guy and I really like Parker Posey. I just went to the movie rental place and I went to get this and on the back it compared it to Sex in the City.
I usually don't care about stuff like this, but, is it really that chick flick-ish? For some reason I got really embarrassed for even holding it.
If it is to "girly" (I'm even amazed at how stupid I sound), is there any other Parker Posey movies, besides the Christopher Guest movies, that would be appealing to a year old guy?

Broken English is an amazing movie but yeah its not very high in testosterone.
the best movies with Parker are:
"The House of Yes." (this one is amazing.)
"Party Girl" (this is mid 90's party fun.)
both of those are great films that I think anyone would be able to enjoy...

Try Josie and the Pussycats...she has a smallish role, but one of my favorites!
