Shame ending: just a copy of 'Before the Sunset'

I can't believe this boring movie won an award. The main character has no attraction, i couldn't follow her feeling at all, even her love search is the only story line. And she is never likable, just a cheesy whore bitch with drink problem. Stupid from the beginning and never grown up. She even rejects an ugly guy in the party, just because he is ugly. The director/writer should study "Breakfast at tifany"!! Anxiety attack made me laugh.
Anybody explain to me why & when this Julian guy got in love with this American chick? He acted like he was in love with her finally, but why!? What part of her made him in love? Because she got the anxiety attack!? LOL.
And finally, the last scene is completely same as "Before the Sunset" , with same lines. "Before the Sunset" is the great movie about much more sophisticated American/French love affair. But this is just poor.

I noticed the same about the ending and thought the same - Before the Sunset is wonderful and the end fits perfectly. In this was it was just disappointing and silly, like a tv show cut in a cliffhanger. I kept feeling I had to tune in next week at the same time to get more of it...

"Shhh, pay attention. You may miss something..."

some pretty harsh comments about a beautiful movie. you may think it was "boring" but before sunset and this movie are on two different levels. before sunset is more about romance about two people while broken english revolves around posey's character trying to find something to appease her desperation and pain. the director herself even said that it was more on the lines of following the 30 year old character's general life, not just narrowing down to her romance with julien.the director did not want this to be a romantic movie. and did you not see the attraction julien expressed at the party? he's had an eye on her since he saw her at the hotel. lastly, so what if it has the same lines/ending of another movie. there's nothing wrong with that. one ending can be shared by two movies.

p.s. your comment on the anxiety attack is uncalled for. it was realistic, that scene shows the "grown-up" side of nora, and her reaction to being in a relationship.

"Before Sunset" was okay... but I think Parker Posey is much more interesting an actor than the two in "BS"!

Besides, just looking at the hot French guy in this film was worth the price of admission!!
