Melvil Poupaud

Melvil seems so hot in this movie!
I havn't seen it yet.
What do you think about him?

eXistenZ is paused!

reply

Amazing. Very sincere. Too good to be true. Nails his last two scenes.

I am free. But life is so cheap.

reply

I agree, he nails the last two scenes. Something hot about him, I like how passionate he is and upfront with his feelings.

reply

Ditto on the Too Good to be True. But in the first few scenes, he wasn't so goodlooking. He looked dweebish in his straw hat. But then he stares at you, like you're the only woman in the room and what you say is so interesting. Loved seeing a shot of a man shyly ducking his head and closing his eyes, drawing attention to his long eyelashes. Yummy Melvin :)

I totally 100% agree! I finally watched this movie around 2:30 this morning and the scene where they're (SPOILER) looking at the penguins and he kisses her for the first time...I swear to you I COULD NOT catch my breath. I had to pause the movie and stand up and try to breathe. Ridiculously romantic! I love this!

Let us hope we are all preceeded in life by a love story...

Waaah, I didn't realize he was the same guy in Le Divorce. He was Charles-Henri there and I thought he was really cute.

He and Parker had great chemistry... good job!

French men have this way of devouring you with their eyes: wow!

reply

You are so right. I felt it too but just chucked it to hormones.

reply

Until this movie, I didn't really get the appeal of Frenchmen. In previous movies they were portrayed as full of themselves and the like. But wow, Julian was ubber yummy and the perfect blend of charming and real. I get it now; and I'd like more please!

*You guys wanna go see a dead body?*

reply

I think in Hollywood, American directors like to portray Frenchmen as always stuck-up and unappealing. I think it is a sign of jealousy. I mean, let's face it: French men have an ease of style and flirting that Amercian men don't.

And no... I am not French!

reply

Il est mon acteur prefere! He is really a phenomenal actor and I like him a lot! Second is Louis Garrel, mais toujour Melvil :)

And do you know what my very first words were? New York Herald Tribune!

reply

Very, Very attractive man. I can't believe he's not more popular in American movies.
