Filming Locations

I love the film. I love filming locations...especially when they are around my (tri-state) area! But why is IMDB so vague on specific filming locations? Paris, France...and Manhattan, NY.....doesn't help one who would be eager to visit the bar, restaurant, street, club, or even buildings shown it the films. Sometimes they do, but more often not enough to pin point.
