cigarette?

Does Jerry having a cigarette indicate he has just had sex with the Anne Heche character. Shes got a satisfied smug face, so was Jerry a man, though she often wears that face anyway? Cigarette as in circa 1950's film?
Ideas?

Thanks for what?

I doubt it. Anne's character looked smug whenever she was talking or whenever she got what she wanted (which was often, because she was the 7th richest woman in the world). Jerry wanted a cigarette about as often as he wanted candy; other than sleep and walking, he expressed little desire for anything else (except that one thing that was a crucial plot point, but it wasn't sex).
