Great Entertainment - Lots of Plot Holes

Kidnapped is one of the more entertaining and interesting shows I have watched in recent memory...as long as you can get past some very obvious plot holes and "Why didn't they just do (fill in the blank?" scenarios.

They come early and often making the show somewhat annoying at points, but in general Kidnapped is superbly acted and very suspenseful. If you are one of those viewers who cannot forgive shows/movies for having obvious weaknesses in plot then don't watch this show because you won't be able to let the slights go by and enjoy it.

Besides these writing issues, the dialogue and character development is great. Delroy Lindo is awesome, although I have always enjoyed his parts so I may be a little biased in that assessment.

Bottom line is the pros outweigh the cons. If you are looking for a "mini-series" (I put that in quotes because it was not intended to be one season,) to get into, try Kidnapped.

Unfortunately, the show was pulled from broadcast TV after episode 5 and the original 23 episodes were cut back to 13 with the remaining streamed on NBC online. That may possibly explain why there were loose ends and plot holes.

What plot holes are you talking about that come early? The only plot problems I noticed were the the ones that were not fully closed due to the cancellation of the series. Even with these plot issues, you wouldn't notice them as a problem until the very end as the show is expected to make you wait for answers over time. They don't give you all the answers when you want them.
