worst superman movie

lets make man of steel like batman lets make him a whiny kid that cries all the time that jerk should of saved his dad at least the in Superman 78 was a victim of a poor diet and not something like a tornado and his own stupidity when he could very easily save him
and they go into hiding all they care about is trying to make superman batman without doing the elseworlds comic Speeding Bullets so you make everyone dislike or hate Superman love Batman like he's better just because he's closer to the comic book they need to do away with the Superman didn't have his powers till like 18 no Superman was a super baby he was a super boy he's Superman

I disagree. I liked this one. The worst one to me is Superman 3. It was boring and Richard Pryor got more screentime than Superman.

reply

you must have skipped Superman 4

reply

That one had a solar powered villain right? I saw it a long time ago and my only memory is thinking it was boring.

reply

Superman 4 was definitely the worse.

reply

Frankly I find Superman 4 more entertaining. Superman 3 is not entertaining to me. It's stupid. And I am in the minority not liking the nonsensical Clark Vs. Superman scene.

reply

Superman 3 and 4 were bad, but at least they had redeeming qualities. The recent Superman films have been awful in every way. I hope when they inevitably reboot the franchise they return to a character more like Reeves' Superman.

reply

I disagree. I liked the first 2 Reeves films but I liked Man of Steel and BVS. I prefer Lex Luthor be a corrupt businessman than being a conartist. Also the comics have long since changed since the Reeves Era and I'd rather see stuff from the mid 80s and 90s be adapted than see Silver Age stuff in movies.

reply

I agree this is the worst Superman movie.

reply

this was really an excellent movie. rewatch it. some of the best superhero fights ever put on film, straight out of a comic book with Smallville getting trashed and punches sending guys flying through buildings. the physics was impressive.

reply

Fights don't make a movie good. That what a story is for. Ever heard of it.

reply

Not sure why you are angry but this was an attempt to make Superman relatable and it helped, definitely one of the better versions.

reply

Yes this superman is super relatable. I love to tell my adopted father to fuck off and let him get killed by a car or something. Its totally relatable.

reply

This guy gets it.

reply

How can anyone say this is the worst when Superman 4: Quest for Peace and Superman Returns are both out there as well? For the record though, I don’t believe this one is bad at all.

reply

Superman 3 was bad (but Annette O'Toole was hot as hell), Superman 4 was horrible. I would rather watch Man of Steel than either of them but I would watch 3 and 4 before I ever watch Superman Returns again.

reply

This one was OK. It was watchable. It had Amy Adams.

Superman 3, 4, and Superman Returns were all worse

reply

Double post, somehow. Am I in The Twilight Zone? Is that the signpost, up ahead?

reply

I like Amy Adams, but I will do Anette O’Toole (what an appropriate family name) in her prime over Amy Adams in a New York minute—extended into a Mexican hour.

reply

Anette O'Toole was a babe and really underrated, I agree!

reply

Superman 3 and 4 are not great. But at least there fun to watch in there own cheesy way. MOS is a cinematic abortion. The first half of the Movie is boring melodrama that fails to make its characters remotely likable and i shit hell didn't care about them and the second half is an hour of pointless fight scene that last far too long. Say what you want about Superman Returns. He might been a dead beat dad. But at least he didn't cause 911 times a billion. Sorry but i prefer my Superheros to do something actually heroic. Because that what there suppose to do.

reply

I'm not going to waste too much time with you. Have you read a Superman comic?

reply

Yes and most of them are better than this and dont usually have him being apart of 911 x million.
