'Evolution always wins.'

I get Faora's point which is saying (at least I think) that the weak die and the strong survive and that's a common philosophy of a villain, but did they specifically make her word it that way to appeal to religious fanatics/creationists?

If so that's one other reason to hate this filth.

I hope not.

Darwins actual quote is; "It is not the strongest of the species that survives ..... It is the one that is most adaptable to change."

And so this is perhaps more a clue of their future doom. As Kal-El is the one who is adapting to his new world, and they are the ones not adapting.

... although imo, she is refering to him being born the old fashioned way. And her being born the future way via those egg laying machines we saw on Krypton. And so she represented the new and improved and he represented to old and outdated Kryptonian.

Yeah I caught that too. And yes, I believe they did.

I hated the film anyway, but that pandering to the "religious fanatics/creationists" was the cherry on top.

When they had the church stained glass windows as a backdrop to Cavil I was thinking "ok, ok, enough!"

Btw, a better way to explain what Darwin was saying is that in evolution you don't have to go fail to go extinct, just succeed less often.
