So few awards/nominations?!

This is such a masterful, stunning, and emotional film, I am greatly surprised that it has not gained more awards or nominations. It did not even make the cut for the Academy Awards documentary shortlist, which is mind-boggling, because this is without question one of the best documentaries of the year. Then again, neither did Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present, which also was robbed; it too is breathtaking, in both its beauty and controversy.

Agreed. It's the best film of the year -- up there with Baraka, which was one of the best films of all time.

A shame it hasn't gotten more acclaim...I can only recall one Best of 2012 List that it was mentioned in. But then, Ron Fricke must be used to being ignored...
