The scene at the North/South Korean DMZ...

The scene at the North/South Korean DMZ, where the South and North Korean soldiers are breakdancing, was that real? I find it hard to believe.
If it is though, that would be very very cool!

As jsng83 said, it was staged. They're all South Korean.

But who knows what tomorrow will bring, right?

Im sure this is the replica set created by Park Chan Woo (Korean Director) for his movie JSA (Joint Security Area).

Yes South Korea at the moment is still in a state of cease fire meaning technical civil war.

The DMZ does exist in real life and it is illegal to cross the line that divides North from the South.

So shooting the scene with both actual armies breakdancing would strictly prohibited and against the law. As one of the Korean B-boys stating that dancing in the army is strictly prohibited and not allowed.

But i agree with "ginstergespinst" hopefully tommorow brings better times for both countries.
