Apologies if this has been asked.. I read through a few posts and didn't see it mentioned:

What did the crew Ichigeki (I'm 90% sure it was them) take right before they went on for the first round? Did anyone else notice this?

Yes, I did, but sorry that there's no one with answers signing in so far on this. I definitely did a double take myself, what with all legitimate questions and flac about steroids and such in sports everywhere. Hope someone can clear it up for us.

I love the dancing, BTW -- nothing like it anywhere to match it's appeal.

Those weren't pills. They were vitamins and they were taken by Last For One, not Ichigeki. I assure you, the Koreans do not take steroids, especially LFO! In Korea, taking drugs can get you sent to prison.

Steroids wouldn't have any effect so soon after ingesting, imo.

Didn't look like pills to me, maybe an energy tonic or something they thought helps them in battle. They're koreans, they got better stuff to boost energy than commercialized gatorade :P

The energy drink they were taking is Bacchus-D (it's what in those little bottles). It's pretty much the Korean version of RedBull but replace caffeine with taurine.

They were dosing or anything like that.
