Kind of lets his imagination run wild on Bigfoot Survivorman
Ok first off I'm a fan of Les and loved his bigfoot episode. I wish he would come back to them minus Todd Standing who is cringe worthy in every aspect of the word.
Anyhow, I have to say after watching the episodes I started thinking that either Les is really discovering a lot of the mysteries of life or he's kind of letting his imagination run wild here. Here are three primary examples of what I mean
1) He claims he saw 5 bright lights larger than the Concord in the sky and as always they disappeared just before he could set his camera up (just like his bigfoot in Alaska story). Then later on in the night he documents and clearly states he had a dream though it felt vivid that a set of buttocks were pressing against him. Then moments later he starts revising it and saying it wasn't a dream and felt very real. That a large set of buttocks were pressing him in his sleeping bag. At the end of the episode when the apple suspiciously disappeared without any indication of what took it he states,"Is it all a coincedence? Did I coincedentally see lights in the sky? Why did I feel a large set of buttocks holding me down in my sleeping bag? What took the apple and power bars? Are these all just merely coincedences....well um....what are you suggesting here? A bigfoot came to your camp ground, sat on you and then the following day there were no footprints, hair samples on your sleeping bag, or any proof that any 9 foot 1000 lb creature was within your camp ground? Let your dog lay on your on a sleeping bag, look at how many pieces of hair it would leave behind. You're telling me a bigfoot wouldn't have left a hair sample?
2) In the original episode where the Myth began. He along with his native american guide are desperately trying to start a fire but its pouring rain and nothing they're doing is working. Then in the end a portion of a tree collapses due to high wind and they use that as firewood. He claims along with his guide that bigfoot was controlling all these conditions,"Was it a mere coincedence we couldn't start a fire? That our cameras were having technical difficulties, and just in the right moment a perfect piece of fire wood became available to us." Ok...cmon now, bigfoot is storm from X-men now? It can control the weather and bring trees to you? This was the most ridiculous of all the ones.
3) The last one is debatable, its the tree collapsing in the Lake Klemtu episode. He claims a tree fell and he's freaking out. He says later on that it happens all the time and he never thought twice about it but this time due to tree rot but since its a bigfoot region and there's no wind hes thinking it was an intimidation display. Ok, so this is something that happens all the time but now that its happening in a slow episode you're going to assume bigfoot pushed the tree over?
What do you guys think?
