He did a few of these with Logan a couple of years ago and I thought they were great. He went into detail of the pros and cons of having a partner in a survival situation. Something I wish Dual Survival would get into.

Logan appeared in two episodes in 2014 with his father. IIRC, Logan seemed disinterested, as if he really didn't want to be there. I had the impression at the time that Logan off-camera, as if hanging by a tied rope to his wrist, was circling around the shoreline holding his cellphone over his head looking for coverage. Of course, I could be misremembering.

He did seem disinterested. In his defense he still pulled his share of the load by catching quite a few fish. I don't think they ever went a day without catching fish.
IIRC in at least one of the episodes Les mentioned that he kind of preferred Logan being more interested in fishing seeing as how he's good at it and that Les sucks at fishing. It worked out better with him taking care of shelter and fire and Logan taking care of food. To be clear, I'm not saying Les sucks at fishing I'm just paraphrasing what he said.
