retro explanation of just how a war can be fabricated???

I mean really, i know I am not real bright, but the whole thing with Weapons of Mass Destruction, and the fact that the Armitage Corp could be equated to a not too distant VP and the Halliburton/Brown&Root conglomerate.....also if I follow this line of thinking what else could I imagine??? certainly not a planned bombing of plane full of innocent citizens. I mean this line of thought is really scary. This is what the film is all about, the details are sort of irrelevant, the message is just that it COULD or Could have ALREADY TAKEN place. I now officially hate this miniseries. Or maybe I just shouldn't have watched it all in one sitting.
