saleem, gay or straight?
ok, is saleem gay or straight? cus when they were pranking his house, they called his "roomate", jomo, to get him out of the house AND he's a cheerleading coach... so i was just wondering if anyone new

shareI asked the mother of a Tate's Creek cheerleader (a co-worker of mine) and she actually doesn't think they're a couple. They were both on the University of KY cheerleading squad, and they're friends. But, she said she's going to ask (though I didn't ask WHO she's going to ask - I hope she doesn't actually ask Jomo!)

I was thinking the exact same thing when I was watching the episode. He doesn't seem gay but I don't know because how many guys his age have another guy as a roommate?

shareGay is the first thing I thought of when I saw Saleem, I think he is very subtle and quiet about it though. If he is gay it can’t be easy to be a gay man of apparently Middle Eastern descent in a conservative southern area.

shareYou know, I kind of feel like this is a cheap question because it's really nobody's business, but on the other hand, I was wondering about it myself. I agree with whoever said before that there is kind of a weird vibe between Saleem and Chelsea, but I don't think it's fair to read too much into things like that. Maybe he just plays favorites and there's nothing more to it. As for what was said before about Saleem being too old for a roommate-some men his age still live with their parents. Plus, we know that Saleem is having to hold down two jobs. Maybe he simply can't afford to live by himself and, thus, Jomo is his roommate and, as such, helps pay the bills. Of course there is always the other option: he's gay. Someone posted earlier that he doesn't "look gay". My cousin is gay and neither he or his boyfriend "look" gay, so you never know.
shareI think Chelsea clings to Saleem because her father's not around. She is the girl (that I saw) that didn't have their dad at home. Maybe Saleem is the only consistent male figure in her life.

Saleem actually dosn't seem gay,
but you can't judge on how a man acts.
In anycase - just because he cheers dosn't mean he's gay,
every guy on my school varsity is straight,
and the guys and coach on my all*star team is straight.
He DOES however seem the type to play favorites with Chelsea,
and in the cheer world some coaches will play favorites
to pretty, preppy girls who fly and tumble.
i though i was the only one who thought this i realli think there is some thing between him and chealsea !! what does everyone else think ?
he's actually not the coach, he's just the choreographer
