Read this about Teddy and Kelly, it will make you feel better!

If anyone ever feels like crap from watching these people, lookie here - when asked what country they'd like to visit, Kelly and Teddy both answered "Australia". Poor dotes - Australia is a continent, not a country. Reading that makes me feel good.

reply

Austrailia is the only country that is also a continent. They knew what they were saying. Don't judge them for that.

reply

I will judge them however I please, whether it be the moronic response they gave (like yours) or whether it's based on the way they choose to wear their hair. Australia is a c-o-n-t-i-n-e-n-t, not a c-o-u-n-t-r-y. What's next soccer4star? I supposed the USA is a monarchy right? (That's right, go look that word up LOL!)

reply

Now you're just being defensive because you realize you were wrong and you're embarrassed about it. You were wrong about your facts and I was just correcting you on them. That's all.

reply

Tsk tsk tsk you are so clearly weak in your retorts that you now accuse me of realizing that I'm incorrent. Tsk tsk tsk, so typical! You are incorrect. Australia is a continent, not a country.

reply

umm actually she was right, Australia is a continent AND a country. Check http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/as.html if you don't believe her - it states that Australia is the "world's smallest continent but sixth-largest country,".

reply

yeah i live in australia and DUH it is a country.
if you think it isnt u dont know what u are talking about.

reply

[deleted]

You are being ridiculous - Australia IS A COUNTRY and a continent. Stop being such a total twit and admit you were wrong.

reply

Australia is a country AND a continent, DUMB *SS!

reply

Some people are just too stupid to be allowed to use the internet.

reply

[deleted]

Australia is a continent jambeliy02. Where did you guys go to elementary school, Barnum & Bailey?

reply

Not a big deal; your making it sound as if they said that Alaska was a country or something like that.

reply

It must be a big deal since you took the time to respond. Oh and Sam? Alaska's a state k? K!

reply

you're a douchebag. sam was saying that it would be bad if they thought alaska is a country, not that it is a country. we all know what we're talking about. stop judging people and calling them stupid because you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

reply

You are a bigger dumb@$$ than I thought. Do you know what sarcasm is? Go look it up! Here's the link to www.dictionary.com dear since I doubt you have one at home:

reply

You should follow your own advice.

reply

You are such an idiot. What are you, like 13? You idiot, you are clearly wrong. They answered the question correctly you idiot. Australia is a country. It is also a continent, but they didnt ask them what continent they want to go to.

YOU ARE SUCH A TOOL.

reply

Lol join the idiot club! Australia is a CONTINENT, not a COUNTRY. Go look up the definition of both and then bang your head against a wall to jump start your pea-sized brain, lol!

reply

Reading that doesn't make me feel better, it makes me feel horrible. Horrible because there are actually people who are as retarted as you are. Australia is a country. It just so happens to be a continent too. There aren't any other countries that make up Australia.

That's nothing. I read somewhere that Vinci believed the city of Memphis, Tennessee was located 20 miles north of Brazil down in South America. Maybe he's the one we should be questioning...

Case closed your honor, ROFL!

reply

Like it's been said a million times over, Australia is both a continent and country.

Think about it, what continent has a capital city? It's in a weird category where it counts as both.

I'm mad I responded to this person's stubbornness and stupidity and I know he'll probably still wont change his mind but it funny how he tried to expose someone else's stupidity and ended up broadcasting his own.

reply

Davis43's logic is, if most people think something is a certain way, then it must BE a certain way. Lol only the most ignorant think like she does! *sigh* I exposed one person's idiocracy for thinking that Australia's a country and now, davis43 has contributed to idiocracy.

So many questions

Do you know anyone from Australia?

Did you graduate from Middle School?

Why do you feel compelled to name call?

Can you list any sources that refer to Australia as strictly a continent (only credible sources)?

Finally How old are you?

Cant imagine you being older that 13

And what you refused to mention was the note at the bottom of that page stating that Australia is the sixth largest COUNTRY! Maybe someone is going through a bit of denial. I know you're upset, but get over it. No one is impressed.

"Note: world's smallest continent but sixth-largest country; population
concentrated along the eastern and southeastern coasts; regular,
tropical, invigorating, sea breeze known as "the Doctor" occurs along
the west coast in the summer"

reply

what the hell. i like how the person still thinks he is right. australia is both a country and a continent.
in your definition it says it "formed a federation" which means its a country.
continent is a geographic term and it refers one of the 7 land masses on earth.

reply

Ugh. Calex82 is so fuc king annoying. He/she started up all this sh!t at the Laguna Beach boards a while ago and argued with everyone who voiced their opinion, just like he/she is doing in this thread. Just ignore him/her and hopefully he/she will go away.
