Was anyone more interested by the trailer than the actual film?

I saw the trailer in a preview before the movie love songs (which I enjoyed) and I was intrigued. But I felt that this movie proved to be almost a completely different concept than what was introduced in the trailer and different from what I was expecting after viewing the trailer. I liked the movie okay, but I found myself disappointed in it a bit. I was just curious if anyone else felt that the trailer evoked different feelings than the actual movie and if anyone was expecting something different.
