Alyosha and Tang = same character?
I just bought the DVD ($12.95), and the way I've interpreted the 4th segment of the movie was the pregnant mother (Zhou Yun) was jilted by her lover Alyosha or Bukong (Chinese name) who made it appear that he died in a battle and left all his belongings including a shirt with 3 bullet holes with Zhou Yun's character. But in reality he was making a rendezvouz with his future wife (played by Kong Wei). We see young Tang (Jiang Wen) and his wife (Kong Wei) celebrating their marriage in the middle of a desert. If this is the case (WARNING: SPOILERS); then the very last portion of the 3rd segment of the film where old Tang shotgun blasted Jaycee Chan's character was really a scene were a father (not knowing the facts) killed his own son. Kinda ironic path of interpretation; but if anyone has other interpretation of this part of the movie - I would really like to know. Thanks.
