More fake than real...


This is a pale imitation of the original. I didn't like the interstitials with people making lame comments either. Also, the quality seems a lot more "fake," like they were quickly trying to cash in on the success of the first volume. I have no idea if that one was real either, but at least those segments felt more authentic overall.

The best bits here are carried over from the original; "Money" and "The Amazing Racist" are extremely outrageous and offensive (and that can't be faked), and the new contender "Boner Boy" is simply hilarious (the use of blurred faces also lends authenticity). The other ones try way too hard for comedic effect and seem to employ more professional actors.

Overall, it's still a pretty amusing effort, and I like the format of Lost Reality 1, 2, and Dirty Movie (the horrendous TV: The Movie notwithstanding) over anything else National Lampoon has produced in the past 10 years.
