Why did the baby sitter run out?

You either didn't pay attention to the film you were watching or you went to take a leak at the wrong moment. Later on after the family had been arrested they showed a recorded interview where the babysitter states that she thinks the entire family are aliens, the little girl in particular. That's why she freaked out.

I wondered why she ran away too, if one of my toddling charges tossed some pebbles on the floor and started making them levitate I would say "Enough of that tomfoolery." and pop them off to bed.
