One of the best films ive had the pleasure of watching

Matsuko was so flawed, she was very human, she was lovable, she was dealt a crappy hand and instead of rising above to be better she was simply herself and reacted to things as she would.

The move was for the most part depressing...an emotional roller coaster but through all the pain, there's a delicate quality that pierces through all the emotional drama. It's a bittersweet quality and it's hard to exactly identify but its there...its strong.. it pulls on your heart strings.

Ending was flawless ...when her sister said 'Welcome Home' as she climbed the stairs....it blew me away.

If you want to watch a movie that takes an large 'emotional toll' on you similar to this one, go see: "balzac and the little Chinese seamstress" It also had a 10/10 ending. Beautifully shot.

PS.

If you want to take something away from this movie, get the song:
"feeling good" by Michael Buble, they played the song once, maybe twice during the movie.
Buble' is Canadian :)
