Language Question
When Hannibal meets the barbarian king north of the Ebro and bribes him for safe passage, what language is the king speaking? Is it a made-up language or Celtic?
shareThe Boii were a Celtic group of Transalpine Gaul who helped Hannibal in his crossing from the Pyrenees to the Alps during the Second Punic War. I'm assuming the Boii spoke their Celtic dialect which was translated to Hannibal.
