Better than Thomas the Tank Engine?
Do you think TUGS was better than Thomas the Tank? I do, because I always remembewr felling as though the program had a real 'atmosphere' which was probably due to the amazing set details and such...
Tugs romps it in over Thomas, hands down, Especially given what we're currently seeing with Thomas: baby-isation. Thomas is slowly being degraded both in quality and target age, so what was once a decent program for 3 year olds is now a low-quality show for 1 year olds.
I think that Tugs was always sort of the next level up in the chain, it was far more mature. What should've happened was that where Thomas gradually grew toward a younger age group, Tugs gradually grew to an older age group. Ah well, hopefully one day we'll see a new series of Tugs hit the screens and really show up Thomas.

I think their equal too.They were made by the same producers.But I must say,HIT has been degrading Thomas,but season 10 was when they improved with hardly any bluntly stated morals at the end
