Why doesn't AP show s4?

I've been watching the series in the afternoons on Animal Planet for a few months now and I'm wondering why they never show season 4; it always ends after season 3 and season 1 starts again. Also, if I have to see one more commercial for Whale Wars or Monsters Inside Me, I'm going to throw something at the TV.

They aren't really monsters!

Sick of those commercials too! I wish they would show season 4. Not sure what AP is doing.
