ENOUGH ALREADY!

Why is it that EVERY commercial break on HGTV now features at least one long commercial for this guy -- sometimes two?

Do people owe this guy money or something?

I can't believe that he's that popular...but then again, in this miserable age this sort of cro-magnon, buzz-cutted, neo-nazi-looking type is no doubt all the rage. "Oooh, he's just soooo in my face!!"

reply

Who watches commercials?

The way you fling about "assuming" insults (cro-magnon/neo-nazi), one would think you were actually knowledgable, but I've learned not to assume.

reply

i only assume a 2x4 is 2x4.

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"

reply

actually, a 2 x 4 is actually 1.5 inches by 3.5 inches. but you must already know that, right?

Wow...you are a prick. You're also making a LOT of assumptions about this guy based solely on how he looks.

Mike (at least how he appears on the show) is a very sweet and caring guy who is incredibly knowleadgeable in his field. It has nothing to do with him "being in your face" it has to do with the fact that he goes in and (technically for free, since he doesn't make the homeowner pay for his labor) fixes what someone else massively fuc*ed up because it's the right thing to do.

What is you're problem? I would suggest some chamomile tea...it might help with the rage issue you seem to have.

reply

Well said, "You Again"!!!!

Sounds like the original poster works for one of the rip-off companies that caused all the damage that Mike Holmes was sent in to repair.

I've neve seen anyone more noble, caring, honest, and hard-working than Mike Holmes. He deserves a medal for what he does for these people in a desperate situation.

I guess some people just can't appreciate integrity.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

especially when the name perfect in it... so much for that

reply

So you have a problem with this man because he's a white guy?
