What was the beam Axel and the kids were wishing on, how did Renton become a Coralian, and what was the summer of love

1. They weren't wishing on it and it looked to me like some residual effect of the Scub Coral leaving.

2. Renton did not become a Coralian. If you think he did then you missed the part of Renton and Eureka being the model that humanity and the Scub would follow to unite.

3. I don't know, it was never explained. Anyone else know?

The Summer of Love is when Adrock tried to become Eureka's partner and activate the Seven Swell; but something was wrong and Adrock didn't want to go through w/ it and removed the Amita Drive from the Compac (which should have been impossible so I guess something went wrong) and disappeared. I forget the whole story but that's the gist of it.

I think it was due to the fact that he still had children to take care of. He didn't want to vanish from their lives. (This is assuming that he would become a corallian.)

Either that, or it just didn't work because Adrock wasn't meant to be Eureka's partner in the first place. They probably got as far as they did simply because of his close relation to Renton, his son, who of course would go on to be Eureka's true partner.

Yes that beam was residual material from the scubs. Renton and Eureka did not become coralians, they were going to but the Nirvash said no, go live normal lives on earth and show people that both species can co-exist. To back this up furthermore, Axel said that all his children left bellforest, but the only one to come back was Renton ( the rest became one with the scub coral), last but not least, one of the FINAL screens of the anime shows the two lights bilnking, which are clearly separate ( blue and red, not the single fusion colour of purple) and if you pause it and examine the screen you can absolutely define 2 different beings, one with wings, Eureka, and one ambiguous figure who is certainly Renton. The summer of love was triggered by Axels disappearence and resulted in unusually low Trappar waves for many years, as well as no scub corals making any kind of appearence.

then where did Eureka and Renton go???
