Is what I am reading correct? Does Johnny Yong Bosch play the voice of Renton in Eureka 7 and Ichigo in Bleach? I've seen every episode of Eureka 7, every english episode of Bleach (up to 52 where it is currently on hiatus), as well as every subbed episode up to the most recent 161.
If he actually does the voice of both, I cannot believe how different they sound! All this time and I have no idea! lol sorry its just freaking me out a bit
lol Yep that's Johnny. It took me a while to figure it out too. I think that it sounds better than the sub voice for Renton. Have you ever heard it; it sounds awful. In fact, I like all the English voices better than the originals.

I've only heard the English. The English voice acting is definitely very good.
shareI watched a few episodes in English and the whole series twice in Japanese, I do agree that it is a decent dub but very few dubs are ever better than the original and this is no exception. Eureka just doesn't sound right in English and while I like the voice actress in her English bleach role as Orihime Inoue she just doesn't fit as Eureka.

Stephanie Sheh was great as Eureka. Johnny was great as Renton,even tried a different voice.
