Are you saying that Wizard of Gore shouldn't have been remade? Because, man, that old one is terrible.
From the moment I saw it, I figured it was ripe for a remake. I"m not sure that this movie was exactly what I had in mind, but compared to the snooze-fest that was the original, its a treat.

The original can't help being what is it??!! And the remake has no excuse??! What the *beep* does that even mean??? The original is hammed up poorly made HGL cheese which has a cult following because it is a movie that is so bad its good. The remake is truly inspired, and the director clearly has love for the 1970 version.
Pft. Hating on remakes is so old, get with the times.
I totally agree. The first was boring and the gore looked like spaghetti and ground beef. Really bad. I liked the new one. 6.5/10. Original 4/10.

of all the movies on my list the one response ive gotten the most is that M has already been remade, didnt know that, never saw it,and now that i know about it people say it is inferior to the original. my intent was to list many different kinds of films as examples, i couldnt have used 'nosferatu' for obvious reasons, metropolis has bean rescored, battleship potemkin has been copied a few times too many ( well, just one scene of it). i guess M was a poor choice. my bad.
