What is this guy racially? Is it a white guy with a fake name or is this tantamount to yellowface?

White guy with fake name. He's not actually trying to pass himself off as Asian.

Actually the part was originally written for an Asian actor, but they got Brad Dourif and so they used him, they just didn't change the name.
