I am one of the directors of the film the Special dEaD and check out IMDB regularly. So i thought I would start a new topic in the discussion section.

Please feel free to ask any questions, leave any comments. I will be more than happy to answer them and I will respond in a timely manner.

The movie is still working out the distribution angle, but will be available shortly.

And as always feedback is welcome. The more reviews we have on IMDB the better.

haven't seen your movie yet, I'm from MA, will there be any screenings there or will it go straight to DVD? Also what format was it shot on and what camera?

Thanks for writing, as of now we do not have any screenings scheduled in your area. That is not to say that it will not happen, because it just may. we have been screening at various places and will continue to.

We will be going to DVD and hopefully we will know shortly the release date. We will announce when that it.

I read a brief synopsis of Special Dead and, before seeing even a trailer, I've decided this is my perfect movie. I REALLY want to see it. I'm in London, england. Where and when can I see it?

You say the release will be soon and I know there isn't a dvd release date as of yet but should we expect a release this year? By Halloween possibly? I'm a huge fan of horror movies and I am very much looking forward to adding "Special Dead" to my collection. I truly can't wait to view your masterpiece.

Thanks for your interest in the film, we want you to see it as bad as you wanna see it. No release date yet, but it is coming. It will definitely be before Halloween, should be a lot sooner. And I am glad to hear you call it a masterpiece before you have even seen it.

Poeple who have watched it thus far have called it an instant cult classic, and that is what is great about the movie. It is something you can watch over and over again.

i am fascinated by this movie.. along with 'poultrygeist', i have never been so wrecked about a movie i haven't even seen yet.. i don't know if i really have a question (other than the future screenings agenda/dvd release, which have already been addressed) but i just wanted to say that i am VERY eager to see this..

that song.. good grief.. i gotta listen to it again..

Thanks fo writing in. Glad you are excited about the movie and yeah, we are waiting to get our release date and will make sure everyone knows.

I am excited that you are excited to see the film. And I love the song myself, wait till you get to hear the entire song, plus the same singer/songwriter has another great song in the movie.

oh, the andy allen song was so remarkable that i sought out his profile on myspace as well.. he sent me a very nice email back as well.. his other songs on his profile are just as entertaining (listening to 'tom berenger' now)..

the south sounds like a WONDERFUL place to screen the movie.. heh.. but, i'll settle for the dvd if i have no other options.. i have a feeling it is easily going to be worth the wait..

i'm curious.. how do you go about entering the special dead t-shirt giveaway? just send the 'i wanna ride the short bus' message to the site? because, man, do i have a doozy of a submission i'd like to send..

We do not have any planned as of yet, but considering I am from the south it is really important for me to screen the movie there. So I hope in the near future it will be screened there.

But the DVD will be kick ass.

Well I can't ever thank you enough. i truly appreciate it. We horror fans are the best in the world, and we have to get the word out there, and I am glad you are helping. I just put the youtube trailer together, as to allow people to put it up. It is the same trailer that is on the wensite, so the link is cool to.

I am all about the street-teaming. This movie got into the right hands by word of mouth and it is helping us out a lot.

All I can say, is from the day I saw something about Special Dead I have been impatiently waiting to check this flick out.

I am a huge horror fan particularly of the zombie genre.

I sure hope it is released soon. I'm anxious to add this to my collection also.

Love the tagline.

Hats off to you and all of the cast and crew of Special Dead. Finally, a truly original and unique zombie film that DID NOT come out of Italy or Japan.

Hi There,
Found out about your movie from an ad in this month's HorrorHound magazine.

I've been trying to locate it. One DVD copy at Amazon? No other retailer's seem to have it. Is the distribution going to widen? I'd like to get a copy.

Yeah we are seling through Amazon, there are plenty more than one copies through Amazon, as we are the ones selling them, that is why we we put that on the ad.

There are links on the movies website to buy through Amazon and Pay Pal link.

The distribution may widen in the future.
