Anybody knows anything about this film's distribution in the United States?
shareWell, Ulysses' Gaze made it here a couple years after the fact. Since this, too, has a recognizable American actor in a leading role, I think it stands a chance of the same.
Also, I'm curious as to possibilities of catching Filming Dreams, the making-of documentary.
There's no chance of the McMultiplexes near me bringing this one in for a run, so am hoping that a wisened studio (Criterion?) will ultimately give it a proper home video release. New Yorker Films would've been the one to rely on but now that they've gone dark...
For a director deemed one of the last living masters, Angelopoulos' work comes awfully dear.
