shareFOX? screw them (no offense Im just mad that jetix (Toon Disney) shows all four seasons). Most probably Jetixwill get the permission to air it but I hope some other good channel will release it instead since America dubs japanese animes horribly ( but then again there is nothing we can do). When i think about it I dont care as longas they do release it here and as long as they dont exaggerate on their dubbing ways. lol. we'll have to wait and see.
shareActually, I think in the past Digimon has been dubbed quite well. This show has some good American writers.

shareDubbing is quite good, it's just americans making it their own because I think the Japanese are so bad at scripts and voices...Japan isnt real enough even if it is their show. Digimon like WarGreymon and others sound more like children unlike America who make them sound as big and strong as they look. and I swear FOX in the UK has changed to 4KIDS and don't show digimon and from what i've seen of Jetix, Digimons never been on their playlist. They don't show it here anymore :( I've tried contacting networks about it but they don't reply. I watched the Savers episode with Subs and its really bad if it was American it would be a bit better but to be honest it's mostly boring, no action in it apart from 5 minutes at the end where Gaomon digivolves to Gaogamon and beats BomberNanimon. apart from that if that blondie is 14 years old he looks too old and Agumon looks too different. The old makers of Digimon should have continued making it instead of other people.

shareWell DISNEY bought the rights to the first four seasons of digimon when they aquired SABAN (Now Sansation Animation). SABAN had the rights to the first four seasons but there really is no telling who will get the rights this time around. I believe it is up for grabs and any animation studio could get it.

I hope it isn't 4Kids because then it is *beep* Sorry for my mouth but 4kids has ruined too many anime shows. let's hope Digimon Savers when released here does not disappoint. And to some earlier post i agree that Digimon has a good group of American writers and I hope it stays that way (even though i rather watch the japanese episodes the American episodes are not that bad). Season 3 (my most favorite of all of them) had some of the best dubbed voices and episodes ever. Season 4 had the worst. But that's just me.
shareHey man when i was 14 i looked like i was 18 man. i once bought beer at a bar once (they didn't even ask for I.D) the episode your talking about isn't one of the better ones man they do get a lot better around episode 20ish. and i like this new season because of all the changes

It probally will most likely either be toonami or adult swim on cartoon network, that's what I think. Because there is some swearing once in awhile.
shareI just want it to be released in the UK with a decent dub. Frontier was never released here, though I know it was dubbed.
Personally after all the screwed up dubs I watched after Digimon Tamers ended in the UK, I've grown to prefer the Japanese voices in anime. Some do get at me, yes, but I like seeing a show in it's original form, before someone else in America got their hands on it.
Have you seen the japense english subbed of season 1-4? all the season have swearing in them. that is if you consider damn and sh!t a swear.

shareTamers and Frontier sucked i like season 1 and 2 cause they tied into each other this horse crap of kids getting turned into digimon and that crappy card game was annoying come on the only good card show was Cardcaptor Sakura...i just watched the first ep of Savers...looks decent and looks like it will make up for Tamers and Frontier

Adventures 01 is the classic since it started it all. I love this season for what it is.
Advantures 02 was the worst of all five so far. Why? If they wanted to continue the story of the first I would have liked it better if they just went on with the original kids. I mean they made them all worthless. And out of the four new kids only Ken and Davis (and their Digimons) got the most screen time. The story was weak and the evil Digimon were just lame excuses to make up for the original kids being left out. My opinion anyways.
Tamers was the best so far. It was dark, more mature than the first two, and really had awesome moments, even very sad moments like the death of Leomon and so on. Tamers was an amazing adventure and yeah it was different from the first two, but it really had me glued on to keep watching.
Frontier was not a bad one. It had different changes too but it was acceptable. It had great moments like Tamers did and was also something I never stopped watching.
Savers is the best so far since Adventures 01 and Tamers, very dark, a lot of deaths (I mean a lot), great story, great 3-D character development (which the previous seasons didn't have), and overall an interesting adventure. I love this season so much.
