movies with the dirtiest cops...brolin(trupo)?

I saw this list of movies with the dirtiest cops and Josh Brolin was listed on there for his performance of Trupo...anyone see this? I think he was definitely the dirtiest cop I've seen in a movie in a while... who do you think was dirtier?

Never the less him being dirty, I always found Alonzo (Denzel Washington) from 'Training Day' to be really dirty. That movie blew me away. Denzel played a wonderful part and a good bad guy! Trupo was pretty dirty. He would get H from the evidence room and sell it back on the street.

Maybe not the dirtiest, but pretty dirty: Orson Welles as Hank Quinlan in Touch of Evil.

Gary Oldman, in "The Professional."

How is Gary Oldman frightening in The Professional? Before you ask, yes I have seen it.

I like it how you try and tell me that Ive never seen The Professional. The only thing I consider a little tad bit looney is when he pops that pill and then cracks his neck before he murders Matildas family. Wait a second, thats not The Professional.

I wouldn't say Disney princes but pretty close. And I never really looked in his eyes. 'Denzel' in Training Day played a much better role. Point out how Stansfield is frightening and is diffrent between 'Denzel' in Training Day and Trupo in American Gangster.

Gary Oldman in The Professional, yeah- but Trupo just really pissed me off- I think Josh Brolin was extremely effective in this role.

You are right Gary Oldman in The Professional has to be considered.

Nicholas Cage did a very good job recently in The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans, as dirty as they come, worth checking it out.

Dirtier....Keitel in Bad lieutenant. We don´t know too much about Alonzo in Training Day but he seemed to more go to extreme, very cunning measures to save his life and those measures included murder, something we don´t see Trupo commit. Those two might be dirtier but Trupo is my favourite,I think.

Brolin gives the movies best performance(seems to be the general opinion) and if you take away Trupo, most of the films tension is gone.He creates a trifecta or triangle of enemies, three men that have reason to despice, shake down or take down the other two.

I think he is my favourite crooked cop cause he got balls the size of your head. Not only extorting Lucas but when he gets a warning and his car gets blown up,he doesn´t get scared,he gets pissed off...he threatens to throw Lucas in the river and steals his dope.

On top of that, bitchslapping Lucas bitch, raiding his house and killing Franks dog....he represents everything that´s wrong and especially WAS wrong with law enforcement back then but still....Scotts attempt to manipulation of the audience borderlines to pathetic. We are actually suppose to see Trupo as the REAL bad guy since he represents the law? No,didn´t fly.Trupo gets my respect precisally bacause of WHO he was extorting....poor little drug kingpin who gets 15 years in jail for ruining thousands of lives. Screw Lucas.

I was amazed that no one mentioned this earlier.

Dirtiest cop ever was Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant. The next closest was probably Matt Damon in The Departed and then Captain McCloskey in The Godfather.

Someone mentioned Gary Oldman earlier.I thought his portrayal of the cop in Leon was pretty dirty too!
