Why does everyone have to think the brothers must look nearly identical?
Coming from an Italian father and French-Canadian mother: I am 5'10'', brown hair, brown/hazel eyes, small/toned/athletic build, baby faced (25 yet I look 18), no chest hair, that Italian'esque curved nose, etc. My brother is 6'3'', blonde hair, blue eyes, naturally big chest and shoulders, wide and flat nose, (28 and looks 30+).
Not all brothers are twins or look identical, often times with little resemblance. I think people get to caught up in them looking extremely similar to be cast as brothers. Many times one has most the features of the dad (and his genes) while the other has most features from the mother...
I just hate the fixation on "they must look identical". I look more Italian while my brother looks entirely opposite (most of my mothers features).
So I'd say stop with the fixation unless they are going to play friggin' twins! haha.
BROTHERS (because of acting, and believable genetically; not putting a 100% Irish actor with a 100% Mexican...):
Daniel Day Lewis & Jack Nicholson (just because they can act)
Leo Decaprio & Ryan Gosling (perfect)
James Franco & Myself (the best?)
Russel Crowe & Gerard Butler (Gladiator300)
Oh my soul, let me be in you now... All things shining. -TTRL
