Movie was entertaining, but this game is horrid!

This game is so very, very bad it is amazing in today's highly competitive market that Electonic Arts would make a game this BAD! They are usually so good about their games, it is shocking that they allowed this to happen, QC must have been away that day!

I have played the other HP games and while they were more immature compared to GOF, at least they were FUN! This one is so utterly without merit, without any sense of enjoyment, it was sad. While I am not a hardcore gamer, I have played a lot of games and this is the worst game I have EVER had the misfortune to play!

yeah it was a pretty good movie and the other HP games were realy good but this game is absolutly sh*t i expected it to be like the 3rd game but after playing it for 20 mins i stopped and might never play it again

You know what's funny? I only just rented the movie the weekend before and I am amazed at how little the game is like the movie! The begining of the movie was about the DEATH EATERS, but the game it was an unseen dragon, and it goes bad from there.
Thank God I only rented it from Blockbuster! I would have been really p*ssed off if I had forked out $40 or $50 for this POS!
I gave it 2 days and couldn't get anywhere. I ended up not playing it for the 3rd day of the rental. It is without a doubt the WORST game I have ever played!
What's sad about it though is that all of the other HP games they made were fun to play. A tad immature, but not too bad. At least they had some enjoyment value, with some interesting puzzles, exploration and interaction.
Obviously Electronic Arts slapped this together so it was on the shelf in time
for the movie's DVD release!

Anyway, we hired this 2 days before xmas, and i was devasted!! its RUBBISH!! whats with the you do a stupid level, then you go back to the menu!! I so wanted it to be like a story, like the 3rd harry potter game is, it would of been great. But anyway, i got this for xmas, and have yet to have played it, doubt i ever will its that crap!

I know what all of you mean. I rented this game today after having waited long enough to get the chance to play it. I enjoyed the other Harry Potter games, but this one confused me at first. I was like, what the hell is this? Glad I only rented it. I almost bought it to complete my collection. Ever so glad I didn't.

What the hell are you smiling at?!

I forked out over $50 of my hard earned cash for this game. The Blockbuster near my house didn't have it and I just *had* to play it so I went out and bought it. I thought it'd be an excellent game because the previous games had been getting better and better. Their stories, side adventures and graphics were improving. But this one didn't even let you roam around or allow you a broom stick which was really boring. I *did* like the way you played though, with all three characters getting to chose who you are and I REALLY liked that you weren't stuck as them the whole game. But this game was crap. I think it was a ploy to kill the game series. I was really dissapointed, this was my favorite book. Atleast the movie didn't let me down. :)

$50?! where in the world did you buy that game?! bought my game first day it came out and paid only $30. I had it beat within a few days, a walkthrough written down in a notebook within a few weeks, in the computer shortly after that and a friend to sponsor it the first of this year (helps their website and my walkthrough. PoA is on the same website. see my thread if you need help with this game, btw). this game, PoA, and Quidditch are my favorites (PoA tops the list followed closely by GoF and then Quidditch). SS is close after those. CoS is my least favorite. I can't explore the grounds at all! as soon as I take a few steps towards Hagrid's it zooms me right there. in SS and PoA, I can roam to my heart's content. in GoF, I just love it for the gameplay and the fact that my friends can join me.

Question is where did you get YOURS? I checked everywhere and it was all the same. I got mine at Circuit City. I was so mad when it was a crap game. And It was so easy too. Not even worth it. I got really mad at Kingdom Hearts II because it was hard for me at some parts but i'd rather have my money's worth. I only paid to rent KHII though. But that was $7.99 what happened to $3.99 game rentals eh?

Wal Mart is where I got mine. best place, besides Best Buy, to get something. to me, Circuit City is a joke. last time that I went into one, couldn't find anyone to help me until I started looking at something expensive, then and only then did I get all of the help that I needed.

They should remake the GOF game. They probably won't, but they should.
