Which games are canon?

I've been wondering this. I know the first two games happen, but afterwards things get complicated.
Three, Ultimate Three, Trilogy. Four, Gold, Deception, Unchained,

So which ones happened in the MK Universe is what I'm wondering

I think these games are canon (some of these are just guesses):

-MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero

-MK1

-MKII

-MK3/Ultimate MK3/MK Advance (but I think the original Sub-Zero's and Human Smoke's appearances in Ultimate MK3 and MK Advance were non canon. I think they were added just for the heck of it).

-MK Special Forces

-MK4/MK Gold

-MK Deadly Alliance

-MK Deception

-MK Armageddon

The only one I know (for a fact) that isn't canon is MK Shaolin Monks. I'm not really sure about Tournament Edition or Unchained (never played them). I'm guessing Trilogy isn't canon either. I don't think that the appearances of Goro, Baraka, Kintaro, Raiden and Johnny Cage were canon.

This is what I think should have been done (cast and arena wise):

-MK1: Fine the way it is.

-MKII: No real need for any change.

-MK3: The regular one should have had the cast it's always had, but include Scorpion, Reptile, Ermac, Rain, Mileena, Kitana, Jade (who were added in the Ultimate version) and maybe both Khameleon and Chameleon (who were added in MK Trilogy). Keep all the arenas that were in MK3, but add all the arenas that only appeared in Ultimate MK3.

-MK4: The cast should have included everyone who was originally in MK4, but include Cyrax, Kitana, Mileena, Kung Lao, Baraka (who only appeared in MK Gold) and Sektor (who only appearded in MK Gold as a secret character I'm told). I never played MK Gold, so I'm just sticking with what I know. Every arena that was originally in MK4 should have been included as well as arenas that only appeared in MK Gold.

-MK Deadly Alliance: I don't really see much of a need for change, unless characters and arenas that only appeared in Tournament Edition would have been included. I don't know much about Tournament Edition, other than the appearances of Sektor, Sareena and Noob Saibot (who weren't in Deadly Alliance).

-MK Deception: Basically, I think this game is fine the way it is (with or without Goro and Shao Kahn). Maybe it would have been cool if Jax, Kitana, Frost and Blaze (who I'm told appear only in Unchained) appeared in Deception itself. I know many characters had cameos (in the Dark Prison), but what I was implying was to make them (the fighters I mentioned above) playable in arcade mode. I never played Unchained, but maybe they should have also included any arenas that appeared in Unchained, but not in Deception.

-MK Armageddon: I don't really see any need for change in this one (character wise), but it would have been cool if more classic arenas (such as city backgrounds and some others) could have been added for this one.

If the regular games would have been made like those, then there wouldn't be any "extended versions" (like Ultimate MK3, MK Gold, MK Tournament Edition or MK Unchained). I don't really have any suggesions for the adventure games.
