Well,I finally finished Konquest today.Funny thing is,the Krypt didn't unlock!!!So I figured that I must have missed some Relics.So I go back to Konquest and the whole thing starts from the beginning again!!!On the upside,I DID find Johnny Cage's picture and Kung Lao's hat.So does that mean that I'm going to have to go through the whole game from the beginning again?
shareunfortunately, thats what happens. if you miss a relic item, you can't even go back after 1checkpioint, the game is too linear for an RPG, it should allow you to wonder about like shadow hearts doesn
shareYeah,that sucks.I did find Shang's Stone and Ashrah's doll today.And there are WAY too many spinning blades in this game!!!I'm having trouble find Blaze's Essence.I find two sources on the internet which both state different things.One source stated that you have to shoot a fireball into a fireplace at Shao Kahn's Dungeon and then catch it when it comes out,and another source stated that I need to destroy something in the area where you meet Kobra and Kira in order to find it.So which one is it?
shareBlaze's escence is in the snow area, at least it was in the PS2 version. You see a pile of logs, set for making a fire, I think the place where you rescure the monk, but if not it is a place like that, you throw a fireball at the logs, they ignite and the escence fallls out.
shareThat's just great,now I'm going to have to play Konquest again!!!This is the second time I'm playing it,and I have to admit that I've found quite a few new items and relics in the game.Does the game save what Relics and Items you've picked up?The "Final Battle Tune" music note was still there,as well as a lot of other items that I've previously picked up!!!
shareYeah, when you start a new konquest game, you still have all the relics you picked up in previouse games with that profile.
