Its widest release was 44 theaters, so "only" making $40,000 isn't too bad. It's not the best movie of all time, either. I'd have to say Saving Private Ryan is the best war movie of all time.
sharehow can you compare this with saving private ryan this is not a movie about bombs here shooting there action here action there its a movie about the effects of war and how messed up it leaves you and for vets not normal people like you that just think of it as another stupid movie. and a wake up call for younger generations to think twice before enlisting in the US Military.

If you're stupid enough to fall for that than we don't want you or your hippie ingrate parents.
This movie goes on my list of the worst movies I have ever seen! The plot sucked, the acting sucked, and the melodrama sucked as well. Plus, as a side note, Samuel L. Jackson's son in the movie got on my nerves as well. I wouldn't have gone as far as he did but damn, I wish he would shut up. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this movie to my worst enemy!
