Near the end of the trailer it shows a bunch of cops surrounding a fast food resturant/conveinence store. I remember awhile ago reading an article in Rolling Stone about a person who came back from Iraq and was so distraught that he held up a liquor store and soon shot 2 cops. Could that part of the movie be based on this story? Anyone heard of that story?

Jamal (50 Cent) and Tommy (Brian Presley) are good friends with Jordan (Chad Michal Murray). Jordan is killed in Iraq and it kinda traumatizes Jamal, which is the cause of his hold-up and the cause of his death. I think he gets shot by the cops or he kills himself, I can't remember.
I felt bad for Jamal because he was very badly traumatized when coming back from Iraq, and his girlfriend refused to speak to him. Later in the movie, he got shot by a police sniper right infront of his girlfriend during the holdup.
It's also must've been heartbroken for Tommy because he already lost one of his buddy during the fighting in Iraq, and soon lost another one when he tried to counsel Jamal by promising to him that they would get some therapy together.

Jamal was freaking out mainly because he killed that Iraqi civilian woman. He was in the restaurant his gf worked in that's where the cops shot him because they thought he was going to shoot, when in fact Tommy had talked him out of doing that and they were going to get help.
