Propoganda?

To the OP who said they were or are in the military and not everyone comes back screweed up.... I agree with you 100%. Very few people compared to the overall number of people who go over ever come back with issues like the 4 did in the movie.......BUT remember... this is a movie about 4 very specific people which is what the movie is all about (the people who do go over and the people who do come back with issues).

The movie was lackluster. I agree with the posts about why 50 cent was in the movie other than to get another big name in there. He can hardly talk and was even harder to understand. No matter what the movie is about or anything, you need to be able to understand the dialog of the actors. If not what is the point of even giving them lines?

Once again like other military movies, my question lies on, who was the technical advisor for this movie, cause they sucked...... or they were pushed aside to get what the director wanted. I too have spent some years in the military (20 years retired). Why the 3 ran off to chase after the shooters or why they didn't diembark from the trucks when they were stopped in the village is beyond me. I won't even get into the aspect of why they chose that route, too many choke points. Once again I do have remind myself that it is a movie about like AFTER the encounter, not the situation they were involved with. If I look at it in that aspect, I still say it fell short with the bland or bad acting.

The one point I saw that I know for FACT was 100% on the money was when one of the soldiers went back to work, the boss asked 2 questions. These are the same 2 questions people have asked me for years, and they were the two I hated the most:
"Did you shoot at anyone?"
"Did you kill anyone?"

To those people who never served and really want to know...... don't ever ask. They will either tell you or never want to talk about it. It just is not the best question to ask a soldier.
