Joseph's best friend (or brother)

I think he only has one line in the film (about having to travel far for the census), but he's portrayed really well as Joseph's best friend (maybe a brother) and he's even in the background in at least one scene, looking all full of mixed up emotions (I actually feel they should have finished that plot point, like have some moment where he accepted Mary and Joseph, although I always assumed, in real life, no one else but maybe Mary's parents and definitely Joseph would have known about her pregnancy, because I never see any stories where anyone from their home thinks he isn't Joseph's son.) I can't find him credited in the cast list or movie credits, in a way I would know it was him, like the credit to Mary's friends, so I was wondering if anyone knew who the actor was.
