The Trial (slightly OT)

The reason I found out "The List" was made into a movie at all was looking up Robert Whitlow on IMDB just to see if anything showed up. I just did it again, and it looks like they're going to make a movie of "The Trial." While I did not HATE "The List" by any means, "The Trial" might be my favorite Whitlow book and should adapt pretty easily into a movie.
A warning to illegal downloaders who will try to see it thinking it will be like "Law and Order..." Several scenes take place at church; one of the supporting characters prays continously for the main character and her prayers are one of the things that saves him from himself. It's actually very moving, but will probably make illegal downloaders roll their eyes and groan and feel... defrauded.
Whitlow fans and those receptive to Christian themes should really enjoy it, however.
I'm not mean--not..that mean...

Your post made me want to ask a quick question. Maybe I missed something, but what does downloading a movie have to do with rolling your eyes due to a christian theme? Are you saying that illegally downloading a movie has never been done by a christian and never will? Because I just have to say, we're ALL human, belief in god or not. I wont comment too much more because I have a feeling maybe I read your post wrong, all three times heh.

Sounds to me like you're saying that A) Christians don't illegally download movies and/or B) People who download movies don't like prayer.

While both sentiments may or may nor be true (or their inverse) a statement like that only ostracizes people who lawfully acquire movies and don't like them as being un-Christian. And Christian do naughty things too. If they didn't, you wouldn't need confession.

Actually, reading your post makes me want to roll my eyes, groan, and feel... defrauded.
