John Krasinski - terrible lack of range

John is great as Jim in the Office. But man, I have never been impressed with his work in movies. He has been merely servicable in his bit roles. But as a leading guy, he was a total disaster. His mugging for the camera was really really cringeworthy. All he does is widen his eyes, do the eyebrow thing, and then look unconvingly exasperated. He was so stiff in every scene I saw. I couldn't watch this movie in its entirety. I kept leaving the room to do errands or was surfing the internet.
