do they ever say why you NEVER see Ben's family? The whole movie you only see her's

What's funny is that when I first watched it... I really didn't think about it but then there is the scene when they are describing each other using only one word- that's when I thought wow only her family it was a bit odd.

Yeah, I've watched the movie about 3 times now, and they never explain it. They couldn't even half ass and say he's estranged from them or anything. Ben already had poor character development but the fact he doesn't have anyone to relate to except his best friend makes him even less likeable

actually... they did show his parents they showed them at the wedding rehearsel they were their when he and sadie broke up. i just assumed that they lived really far away and it was a big ordeal to fly in.

The scene in the church when they break up, his parents are there and it's stated they're in "all the way from Seattle."

they were blown up by terrorists putting a bomb in their pet cat. but then they ressurected from the dead just in time for the wedding rehearsal. "all the way from seattle" is just their cover, cause if people knew they were zombies they would do science experiments on them and they wouldnt get to see their beloved son get married :}

We see Ben's family during the breakup scene. I suspect his parents were poor and lived out of state so they couldn't have been there the whole time, compared to her parents who were wealthy enough to travel.
