Blindfolded Driving?

How many people completely gave up on the movie when Rev Frank had Mandy Moore drive blindfolded?

That was just a little...oh...I dunno...ILLEGAL! Do reverends normally have people break the law and put others in danger?

And Mandy Moore's character just went along with it and blamed everything on Ben.

This movie pissed me off more than any movie ever has.

Good test of trust. Just plain bad idea.

I know!! Like was that even meant to be funny?!?
How is the world is that a test if compatibility. I would have gotten out of the *beep* car.

Doing an exercise like that would be more appropriate for an empty parking lot then a busy street.

Rev Frank had complete control of the car. I noticed that he would always turn it just in time. While it was funny and exaggerated it was also a good exercise in communication and trust.

Both people had a problem with proper communication. The guy didn't take charge like he should and the girl didn't trust him enough to make decisions for the relationship. So in the end they both realized this was an issue.

It was exaggerated and could never work in the real world but they did it to be funny.

I got the same impression as you black knight. The scene was meant to be funny in a ludicrous way. I don't know what the rest of you expected it's comedy people.
