Larry's Son Stole This Movie!

I finally saw this film on cable and while I didn't find it particularly good (or bad) that little boy Cole Morgen who played Larry's son totally stole the picture. He was hilarious and kudos for him for jumping into the comedy in his part like a pro. I've seen many an grownup actor copout when playing a presumably gay character by throwing those "I'm not really like this" undercurrents in their performance but this kid was a real pro and milked that part without embarassment for all it was worth. Hard to believe this kid has no other credits to date according to IMDB when one considers all the untalented, obnoxious kids one sees on television all the time.

That boy was very funny, a step above from the similar kid in Ugly Betty.
His move instantly reminded me of Johnny Cage's "Nut breaker" from Mortal Kombat:

LOL! Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I actually shouted that out when I was watching it with the family, "He pulled a Johnny Cage!". xD

He's hilarious. I love when he says, "I don't like roaches. They're so ewie!" lol the way he said ewie always cracks me up. What's funniest is I don't even think he's playing a gay child. He's still at that age where girls would be gross but I don't think he likes guys, just theater hehe

I would be happy if I got a son like that. Tap dancing, ballet, musicals etc are great entertainment. Imo, it's better than to jump on the band wagon and play team sports. "Every" boy does that. It's so worn out.

Also, singers and musicians have a much longer career than professional sports people.
