I saw this on a plane with no sound...

..since I'm cheap and refused to pay for the headphones. Can anyone tell me if the main character had some kind of facial nerve damage which caused her to have the same facial expression (which I read elsewhere described as the look of a crazed tiger about to strike) on her face throughout the whole movie?

All kidding aside, I did see it on a plane yesterday without the sound, and thought Nia Vardalos went more than a bit overboard trying to appear "cutesy". Perhaps some day I will see AND hear this movie, but it will not be voluntarily.

HAHA! Wow...I too saw the movie on a plane with no sound. It was on Sunday as well and I was on my way back to Newark from Seattle. I thought she looked pretty cute. But I could see what you mean.

I saw it on a plane WITH sound - what a load of tripe. I would never have gone to a cinema to see it, that's for sure.

Geez- @jayceezy, verrry funny! I just rented it. I have very little expectations, it was a free rental. Seriously that sounds like a movie I saw called The Tattooist, I couldn't even sit on my couch for more than 15 minutes at a time.....thanks for the laugh!

katbird1, that is an old Jay Leno (before the whole world turned on him like he was a mass murderer) joke from 30 years ago that still holds up. The world is full of tears, and crappy movies; so it is nice to laugh when we can.;-) Cheers!
