any idea why this was in the script? Wondered if maybe the writter was a big fan or something? was kinda of surprised to come across this and hear them say DD over and over and even make the robbers use the names - awesome!

wonder what DD felt about it. I totally didnt know about this.

The writer or directer was probably a fan. The forum titles Jessica talked about are actually DD songs and this is how criminals got in contact with each other, which is why it kept coming up. This could have been done with pretty much any artist, but like I said, I guess someone in production was a fan.
