Ms. Ra was a vampire

When Tae-Ju was puréeing that apple, she cut herself, and a drop of her infected blood made it into Mr. Ra's apple purée, then she drank it. Was anyone else a bit disappointed that Ms. Ra being a vampire didn't come up later in the movie, especially when they were dying in the sun?

I think that her slow recovery was due to this "infection". You'll notice that she starts to move her finger at one point. She might be "infected" but I believe the dose is so low that she probably won't become a full blown vampire for quite a while ... if ever.

Yes, I think the said "infection" occurred primarily to kick-start the events we see on the mah-jong night.🐭

I was half-expecting her to burn up with the couple at the end, but nope...I guess a drop of infected blood is not enough to go full-nosferatu.

When darkness overcomes the heart, Lil' Slugger appears...

I don't think she became a vampire, Sang-hyeon had to drink all lot (all?) of Tae-ju's blood and give her a lot of his own before she turned. If Mrs. Ra had turned into a vampire, the lack of blood would have slowly killed her, as Sang-hyeon and Tae-ju wouldn't have been aware of her vampirism and would have continued feeding her regular human food.
