Rank the 8 Studio Albums

I can't review When dream and day unite or Falling into Infinity as I haven't heared them, but for the rest of the list.

1.Scenes From a Memory (I'm a concept album addict!)

2.Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence (My first DT album. I haven't actually finished the first disc, but what I heard from it was awesome. It's on my to do list.)

3.A Change of Seasons EP (I say it counts! ACOS is too awesome to not be recognized.)

4+5. Octavarium/Train of Thought (They rank about the same for me. I like them both, but there are only a few songs that I absolutely love when it comes to the DT standards. Still, they kick 90% of most new albums in the ***!)

6.Images and Words (It's probably just that I haven't heard it enough, but there isn't as much for me here as on other albums.)

7.Awake (for some reason I don't like this album much. I've heard most love it. But to me it seems too... different. Can't tell why, but it is. I'm still trying to give it a chance to grow on me though.)

have not heard Awake, Infinity, Dream and Day, or A Change of Seasons. But for the few I have heard, here they are

1. Metropolis PT2: Scenes from a Memory- This album was the album that my freind told me would "turn me into a Prog fan" and it Did. It is my favorite album of all time. Period. The Concept, the story, the music, everything falls into place for the Masterpiece.

2. Train of Thought- I really love this album. Dream Theater tries something different with each effort, and this was their "Metal" album, and it paid off. Honor Thy Father, and In the Name of God still give me chills.

3. Systematic Chaos- This is one of the few albums where I actually love Every song on the track listing. While there is only One masterpiece on the album. (In the Presence of Enemies) The rest are stellar songs, and its a good sign that even though Roadrunner may have our beloved DT, Nothing has changed.

4. Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence (Disc 2): This song is Awesome. Period.

5. Octavarium- While the Title track ranks as my 4th Favorite Dream Theater Song, I found the album lacking. The best tracks were 1 and 8. Octavarium and The Root of All Evil. And onlt TROAE because its a Part of the AA Saga. Which is getting better with each installment.
